Brazilian president tested positive for coronavirus

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been reported that he tested positive for new coronavirus.

Earlier, a number of Brazilian media reported that President Bosonaro had the new coronavirus test was re-administered and the results will be released no later than 7 days. On the afternoon of 6, Brazil time, Bossonaro, wearing a mask, told his supporters in front of the presidential palace in the capital, Brasilia, that he tested positive and he also asked supporters to stay away from him.

Currently, there are over 1.62 million confirmed cases in Brazil. A Brazilian Ministry of Health survey for the entire country indicates that the actual number of the infected coronavirus cases in Brazil may have exceeded 10.5 million, which is more than the reported number.

In addition, 12 cities of Brazil have seen an increase in the number of infected cases after they opened their cities. Therefore, some cities decided to reintroduce more restrictive measures to control the increasing number.
